Seeking the halcyon life

...Just came back from my Himalayas trip last Sunday.. Managed to upload 4 albums of photo onto Facebook realising that I really love taking photos! And, am so so hunger for a DSLR now.. =P in love with photography now.. should I change profession and become a photographer?? haha..

It was really a fun memorable trip despite the headache, vomiting (yes, I vomited once on the second day.. =(..but I was glad I did, at least I was pretty well throughout the whole road trip..haha! 先苦后甜嘛!), palpitation and fainting-like feeling walking at 4000m plus from sea level. Spending time at the mountains area looking at the local people made me realise that life can be very simple if we want to actually, and we don't have to be so obsessed with certain things, if it is meant to be, it will be.. I wonder how would the local people think of us when they see us? Will they want to lead the hectic rat-race life like us here or they rather wear the same clothing everyday and eat whatever available there?? Something to ponder on...

... On the side note, I love our mother earth.. she cured my headache while we went trekking one of the mornings! Amazing! =) Think I should start going for the morning walks here every weekends!

Get to know a lot of nice people from the trip, from strangers we become friends that talk about the trip, the fun stuffs i.e. the name game that we had together on the car then and look forward for the next coming endless trips! This is the magical part of meeting people that share the same interest as you.. Hope I will get to travel with them again soon!

Sadly, all of us have to come back to the reality after the break, though I don't think this break is enough. Well, in fact.. there is never a long-enough holiday break for me.. good things just seem to fly away very fast.. I think as long as I have enjoyed and learnt something out of it, that is what most important and valuable..

People asked me why I chose this type of holiday instead of an easy-relaxing-shopping-type one, well.. all I can say is, apart from having it as a farewell trip for a friend, we are afterall only young once.. we need to keep on venturing the nature and experiencing the different cultures while we can and have the chance to! And am so glad that I have agreed to join this expedition. Things are so unexpectedly enjoyable! Speaking of shopping, hey, I did shop there too.. but no Prada no Gucci.. just pure hand-made stuffs that guess what.. you wouldn't be able to find the similar second piece here! That's even more priceless than the branded stuffs, isnt it so? We people have really been indulging ourselves in too much of luxuries here.

So looking forward to the upcoming adventurous holidays! Till then, I have to start executing my long-forgotten plans and move on.. Give me the power of determination!
